MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. He was a part of the team together with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album the chart-topping Dopamina. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 along with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The singer appeared with him in 2023 for 2000, featuring the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was raised within a musical family, because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. According to him, music was an integral element of his existence. He began playing the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as an infant. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian His brother Julian advised him to go for singing lessons with a Cuban teacher. The end outcome of discovering his talents as a performer changed the direction of his life.
