Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco artist. Involved in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she also delves into other music genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as smooth, elegant and sharp while also with a little bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success following her debut album Los Angeles was released in the year 2017. The album earned it the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami, her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to appear in a solo performance on the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
